I'm glad you posted something, even if you haven't felt like journaling much lately! I'm the same way, sometimes I just don't feel like it... I know what you mean about the "write something every day" approach - it's kind of bullshitty... I DO force myself to spend 5 minutes a day on ALL my long-term hobbies - writing included - but if I'm not into it that day, I don't push myself any further than that... Seems to work pretty well for me, and even 5 minutes helps me to feel less guilty, like hey I took a stab at it... Ha!
That's great you got to talk to your aunt! I'm horrible about calling people too, and keeping in touch in general... But that's really nice you got to chat with her, and that your uncle was there too!
We finally finished watching all of Dexter season 4... Now the long wait for the next season! It's such an awesome show... Too bad the books suck - I hate when I set out to read a book and don't like it, I feel like a loser if I just quit so I force myself to read it anyway... Gah =(
Hey can you add me on Twitter? I sent you a reply yesterday but I'm not sure if it goes through unless I'm on your list too... I haven't been great about reading my Twitter page (for the most part I find it really boring! Not sure it's my thing?) but I'm trying to be better about it! :D
Of course I'll add you on Twitter! I thought I already had. Boo!
It was really exciting to talk to my family. It's really a shame that we've let it go so long, but hopefully opening up will change it. =]
Maybe I should try just the five minutes a day deal with my writing. It might make me feel better about the whole thing, even if it's only a few sentences. I'm usually the type that wants to finish an entire project in one sitting, no matter if it's a crochet project or a written piece. Not really such a great idea sometimes. Haha!
I'm glad you're feeling better today! I hate that the fall weather negatively affects you. I love the fall!
